Dr. JackMcListerhas beenappointed2016–17
president of theOntarioDentalAssociation (ODA)
fora1-year term.
TheLondondentist hasbeen
amember of theODA for the
past 41years, andhehasbeen
involved inorganizedden-
tistryever sincegraduating
from theUniversityofWestern
Ontario in1975. Hehas served
onmanycommittees and
task forceswith theODAand
sat on theassociation’sBoard
ofDirectors. Hewas also
president of theLondonand
DistrictDental Society twice,
andhasbeen involvedwith
theNational Dental Examining
Boardof Canada. Dr.McLister
is currentlyco-chair of the
ConstitutionandBylawsCom-
mitteewith the International
CollegeofDentists aswell as
oneof thecollege’s interna-
tional councilors.
Apart-timeadjunct professor
at theSchulichSchool
ofMedicineandDentistry,
Dr.McLister hasbeen teach-
ingandmentoring students
for close to40years. Healso
maintaineda familypractice
for 38years. Eachyear,
SchulichDentistrypresents
theDr. JohnC.McListerAward
toagraduating student in
recognition for their commit-
ment, leadershipand service
to their communityand
profession.

clinical affairs.
Dr. Delaquis commends

tocare for vulnerablepeople.
