Starting in July2015, Great-West Life is enhancing thepayment process for
all dentistsbyofferingweeklydirect deposit payments insteadof individual
chequesper visit. Paymentswill includeaneasy-to-readelectronic statement
withdetails—breakdownsby familynameandpatient, servicecodes, tooth
numbers andmore—tohelpyou reconcilepayments.
Great-West isworkingwithTELUSHealth tomake signingup for direct deposit andelectronic statements fast, easyand
secure. Dentistswhodonot signup for direct depositwill receiveachequeand statement bymail twicemonthly. Go to

SunLifeFinancial acceptscoordinationofbenefitclaims
SunLifehasupgraded toCDAnet version4andnowaccepts co-ordinationof
benefits e-claims. This change improves serviceby reducingclaimprocessing time
andcost.
Whenapatient has coverage from twodifferent carriers andSunLife is the
secondarycarrier, thedental officecan transmit theexplanationof benefits from the
first claim toSunLife for electronicprocessing. Bothclaims canoftenbe settledwhile thepatient is still in theoffice.
