andnationaldental associationshighlight thebestpreventativecare thatCanadianscanundertake to

memberswhoparticipated inpres-
entations to schoolsandcommunity
organizations.

TheManitobaDentalAssociation
(MDA) launchednewpatient educa-
tionand informationmaterial for the
FreeFirstVisitprogram. Thecampaign
messagepromotes the idea that the
firstdental examination shouldbe
donebyageone, and that thefirst
visit is freebeforeage3.
Updatedcounter cardsandwindow
decalsabout FreeFirstVisit, along
withpatient information fact sheets,
werecirculated toManitobadental
offices.New for theprogram, pub-
lichealthnurseswereengaged to
includeearlycareandfirstdental visit
informationprominently in theirnew
parent/newchildhomevisits.
MDA launchedavideoentitled
“BeMouthy”which joinedMDA’s
other award-winningadsandvideos
in rotationon televisionandonline
through socialmedia. Thevideocan
