The strong relationshipbetween theRCDCand theU.S.
ArmyDental Corpswas formed throughahistoryof
training together and shareddeployments.
TheU.S. ArmyDental Corpsprovidesmilitarydentistswith
awidevarietyof training, includingoral andmaxillofacial
surgery, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics,
orthodontics andaone- and two-year advancedgeneral
dentistry residency. FortSamHouston ishome toaround
15,000activedutyofficers andenlisted soldiers, reserve
components, National Guard, and student personnel.
