expertsanddentistry students todiscuss
ethical cases.
Student representativesalsoestablished
twonewcommittees. TheDental Student
ConferenceCommitteewill be responsible
foroverseeingpreparations for anew
conference tobeheld in2018, and the
StudentWellnessCommitteewill address
students’ physical andemotionalwell-being.

werediscussed. External guests included
representatives from theAmericanStudent
DentalAssociation (ASDA), theStudent
ProfessionalismandEthicsAssociation
(SPEA), theAssociationofCanadianFaculties
ofDentistry (ACFD), theCanadianDental
RegulatoryAuthoritiesFederation, CDSPI,
and theNationalDental ExaminingBoard
(NDEB).

creatinga “nationally integratedcommunity
enhancing the student experience in
thedental profession,” theFCDSA
will focuson sixpriorityprojects in theyear
ahead:
