Faculty Position, College of Dentistry. The
University of Saskatchewan, College of Dentistry
invites applications from qualified individuals for
a full time tenure track position at the level of
AssistantorAssociateProfessor in theareaofOral
Medicine/Oral Pathology. The position requires
participationand thedemonstrationofexcellence
in the delivery of the College’s Oral Medicine/
Oral Pathology curriculum through pre-clinical,
clinical and didactic teaching of undergraduate
and graduate students. Participation in an active
biopsy service, and in research and scholarly
activities related to both disciplines are required.
Experience in the preparation and teaching of
pre-clinical and clinical aspects of OralMedicine/
Oral Pathology will be considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and
a broad knowledge of dental education are
expected. Candidates must possess a DMD/DDS
orequivalent,NationalDentalExaminingBoardof
Canada certification and be eligible for licensure
as a specialist by the College of Dental Surgeons
ofSaskatchewan. Thesuccessful completionof an
Oral Medicine/Oral Pathology specialty training
program and the National Dental Specialty
Examination (NDSE) administered by the Royal
College of Dentists of Canada, or eligibility to
apply for the NDSE, are also required. Applicants
who have been accepted into, or are already
enrolled in a postgraduate program accredited
by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
of Canada (CDAC) or an accreditation body
with which CDAC has a reciprocal agreement,
will also be considered. Salary bands for this
position are as follows: Assistant Professor
- $90,796 - $109,108; Associate Professor -
$109,108 - $127,420 and Professor $127,420 -
$148,784. Thisposition includesacomprehensive
benefits package which includes a dental,
health and extended vision care plan; pension
plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary),
academic long term disability, sick leave,
travel insurance, death benefits, an employee
assistance program, a professional expense
allowance and a flexible health and wellness
