About Dental Plans

Dental plans, or benefits, are a means to help you to pay for your dental treatment. Employers provide health and dental benefits for a variety of reasons, including the promotion of good health. They also view health and dental plans as a way to keep their workforce healthy and fit, and to attract and retain top-notch employees.

Coverage — The actual coverage you receive will depend on how much you and your employer or union have agreed to pay toward the costs of your dental care, and the specific benefits that they have agreed to provide.

Understanding Dental Plans — The information here has been provided to help you understand your dental plan and the impact that any changes in your dental benefit coverage may have on you.

Understanding Treatment Plans and Dental Plans — Treatment plans and dental plans are not the same thing. Brush up on the difference and discuss it with your dentist.

Dental Benefits & CDAnet — CDAnet is a nation-wide network of Canadian dental offices and insurance companies. It is the most efficient, time and cost-saving method of processing dental claims.
