Resources on Early Childhood Tooth Decay

These resources (a manual and toolkit), produced by the Manitoba Collaborative Project for the Prevention of Early Childhood Tooth Decay, are available for parents and teachers as educational tools about the prevention of early childhood tooth decay.

They are based on the results of a pilot project launched by the Collaborative in 2000, when it conducted surveys in selected communities to determine the factors affecting tooth decay in children under 6 years of age.

The resources are available on the Web sites of the University of Manitoba’s faculty of dentistry and of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
