Dentistry’s Message Presented in CMA Magazine

An editorial from CDA president Dr. Don Friedlander is featured prominently in the Summer 2009 edition of Canadian Health magazine, a national publication produced and distributed by the Canadian Medical Association (CMA).

Dr. Friedlander’s piece on the importance of oral health is the first of 4 instalments that will appear quarterly in both English and French. The CMA has agreed to print and mail these 4 issues of Canadian Health to all CDA members at no cost to CDA. The magazine is also sent free of charge to the waiting rooms of physicians and hospitals across Canada.

In his initial editorial, Dr. Friedlander discusses the evolving working relationship and spirit of collaboration that exists between dentists and physicians. Featuring dentistry’s message in this CMA publication helps to reinforce the close ties between the two professions.
