This deadline for modem retirement affects claims for Great West Life, Sun Life, Manulife, NIHB, Desjardins and other claims transmitted through the TELUS Health network and Alberta Blue Cross. If your office uses a phone modem for dental benefit claims transmission, you must transition to ITRANS before December 15, 2017. You will have to submit claims manually by mail, if you have not converted to ITRANS by the deadline.
