The Ideal Candidate: is licensed to practice dentistry in Canada, is committed to providing quality dental care, has experience working with First Nations and Inuit clients and has experience working in a public health environment. The Work Environment: has set week day hours, provides for all equipment, maintenance and supplies, and has limited administrative responsibilities. The Facility: is a modern facility located in downtown Whitehorse and is equipped with current dental equipment, digital radiography and ABELDent dental software. The facility was established in 2005 to improve dental services for First Nations and Inuit clients. The Contract: is for 2 years and 9 months with a value of $980,100 ($356,400 annually), with the possibility of two one (1) year extension periods. The contract requires the Contractor to provide/fund their own dental assistant and dental receptionist.
