Faculty Position, College of Dentistry. The
University of Saskatchewan, College of Dentistry
invites applications from qualified individuals for
a full-time tenure track Academic Programming
Appointment (APA) position at the rank of
Assistant or Associate Professor. The primary
responsibility
of
academic
programming
appointments is multi-disciplinary teaching
in clinical or preclinical environments, using
integrationandapplication to improve thequality
of instructional dental programs provided to
our students across all disciplines. Academic
Programming Appointments are expected to
commit to continuous improvement of their
teachingperformance.Effective interpersonaland
communication skills are expected. Additional
responsibilities include: research activities aswell
asadministrativedutiesaspartoftheirassignment
of duties. APA faculty must engage in academic
programmingactivities, professional practiceand
demonstrate a scholarly approach to teaching

will mentor andmanage ‘pods’ of students in a
clinical setting as directedby theAssistant Dean,
Clinical Affairs. We seek general practitioners
who possess a DMD/DDS or equivalent, National
Dental Examining Board of Canada certification
and licensure by the College of Dental Surgeons
of Saskatchewan. Salary bands for this position
are as follows; Assistant Professor – $93,293
- $112,109; Associate Professor - $112,109 -
$130,925. This position includes a comprehensive

Faculty Position, College of Dentistry. TheCollege

in Endodontics. The successful candidate will
be required to deliver didactic, pre-clinical and
clinical teaching; supervise student research
projects; initiate, lead and participate in research
activities; compete successfully for external
funding to support this research program; and
undertake relevant administrative activities
including meetings and committee work.

who have postgraduate specialty training in
endodontics at the Masters or PhD level or
