The Canadian Dental Association (CDA) has dedicated this section of its website to the needs and interests of dental students.

Through this section of the CDA website, you can connect to the latest news regarding student affairs and activities. You also have online access to information and resources that have been provided to assist you during your studies and to prepare you for graduation and the start of your dental practice.

Committee on Student Affairs — The student representatives to the Committee on Student Affairs are your liaison to your national association.

Certificate of Recognition for Dental Internship Program — Issued by CDA, this certificate identifies you as a graduate of an accredited internship or general practice residency program in Canada.

Hospital Internship and Dental Residency Programs — A list of hospital internship and dental residency programs available across North America.

Student Insurance & Investment Programs — If you are a dental student and a member of CDA, you can take advantage of special insurance and investment programs sponsored by CDA and administered by CDSPI - many at no cost to you.

Student Clinician Program — This program provides an opportunity for one dental student from each accredited dental school in Canada to participate in a national clinical research competition.

CDA President's Award — The CDA President's Award is awarded annually to a graduating student in every Canadian dental faculty.

Awards & Scholarships — This financial aid offered by Dentistry Canada Fund recognizes students for both their academic and extra-curricular achievements.
