Awards & Scholarships
The Dentistry Canada Fund (DCF) is the Canadian charity for oral health.
As such, DCF’s mission is to mobilize and allocate resources for the advancement of oral health through education, research and public outreach.
As part of its effort to encourage education and research in the area of oral health and dentistry, DCF offers grants, scholarship and research fellowships to qualifying Canadian dental students to help fund dental academic careers.
This financial aid recognizes students for both their academic and extra-curricular achievements.

| DCF - Oral-B Laboratories Dental Undergraduate Scholarships | The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize, and encourage excellence and provide support to deserving undergraduate dental students. | December 31 |
| DCF Dental Undergraduate Financial Assistance Grant | The purpose of this scholarship is to assist undergraduate students currently enrolled in any of Canada’s faculties of dentistry who are in financial difficulty. | September 30 |
| The Eaton Award for Excellence | The purpose of this annual award is to recognize, and encourage excellence and provide support to deserving undergraduate dental students. | January 31 |
| Thomas Curry Fellowship Guidelines | This fellowship is to assist in supporting a dentist to take a postgraduate or graduate program in dental public health. | January 31 |
| DCF Teaching/Research Fellowships | The purpose of this fellowship is to provide financial assistance to those students who wish to pursue a career in dentistry research and/or teaching at the graduate level. | September 30 (renewals) January 31 (first-time applicants) |
| DCF Biennial Research Award (every 2 years in an even year) |
The purpose of this award is to encourage research, related to dentistry, conducted by graduate or postgraduate students in Canada. | September 30 |
| Dentsply Henry Thornton Award Guidelines | This $1000 award is presented annually to the most meritorious applicant to the DCF Teacher/Researcher Training Fellowships, in the opinion of the DCF Fellowship Advisory Committee. | January 31 |
