CDSPI Affinity Services

The Members’ Assistance Program (MAP) is a free, confidential counselling and information service offering helpful support for many areas of your life.

You can call MAP if you are dealing with concerns like a mental health, financial or legal problem — or if you need advice on matters such as parenting or how to better manage your time.

A CDSPI Affinity Service, MAP is available at no cost to dentists, dental office staff and the family members of dental professionals.

When you phone MAP, you will speak with a Client Care Representative who will ask you some questions, and then put you in touch with an appropriate professional in your area for short-term assistance. Counselling and advice are provided by experienced professionals including psychologists, social workers, addiction counsellors, financial advisors and lawyers.

Although MAP is a CDSPI Affinity Service, it is operated by a separate company — Shepell·fgi. Anything you discuss with an Shepell·fgi counsellor will be held in strict confidence.
