CDAC Decisions 2009

An educational program is non-accredited until such time as an accreditation program survey is scheduled, the results of the program survey are reviewed by CDAC and a decision regarding program accreditation is made. If a program does not appear on this list and does not appear on the list of accredited programs, the program is considered non-accredited.

Application for a Program Survey

CDAC approved the following Dental Hygiene programs for a program survey - “Program Status under Review”:

• Aurora Dental College (Aurora, ON)
• Canadian Business College (Toronto, ON)
• Kent College (Dupont Street) Toronto, ON
• Medix School (Kitchener, ON)
• University of British Columbia (Entry-to-Practice Option of Dental Hygiene Degree Program only)

CDAC denied the following Dental Hygiene program a program survey:

• Stafford College (Toronto, ON)

CDAC approved the following Dental Assisting program for a program survey:

• Cambrian College (Sudbury, ON)

Program Accreditation Decisions

CDAC denied program accreditation to the following Dental Hygiene program:

• Maxwell College (Belleville, ON)

CDAC withdrew program accreditation from the following Dental Hygiene program:

• Canadian College of Dental Health (Burlington, ON)

CDAC denied program accreditation to the following Dental Assisting programs:

• Red River College (Winkler, MB)
• Medix School (London, ON)
