CDAC Decisions 2008

An educational program is non-accredited until such time as an accreditation program survey is scheduled and the results of the program survey are reviewed by CDAC. If a program does not appear on this list and does not appear on the list of accredited Dental Hygiene programs, the program is considered non-accredited. For information on applying for certification following graduation from a non-accredited Dental Hygiene program, please contact the National Dental Hygiene Certification Board (NDHCB) at www.ndhcb.ca/.

List of Dental Hygiene Programs – Application for a Program Survey Denied in 2008

CDAC reviewed and denied the following Dental Hygiene programs’ applications for a program survey:

  • Aurora Dental College
  • Canadian Business College
  • Huron College
  • London College of Healthcare and Technology Inc.

List of Programs – Accreditation Status Denied in 2008

CDAC denied program accreditation to the following Dental Hygiene programs:

  • Kent College
  • Oxford North Toronto
  • Yorkville College
  • Xincon College
  • Ontario College of Oral Healthcare Professionals

CDAC has granted approval for a program survey to the following Dental Hygiene programs:

  • University of British Columbia (Entry-to-Practice Option of Dental Hygiene Degree Program only)
