Accreditation Surveyors
Individuals participating in accreditation surveys must have a background in the disciplines of the program surveyed (i.e. dentistry, dental specialty, dental hygiene or dental assisting). Surveyors must also have clinical and/or educational experience and must be familiar with the concepts of learning outcomes and graduate competencies.
Surveyor responsibilities include reviewing the documentation submitted by the program, conducting on-site interviews with program faculty members, staff and students, and writing the accreditation survey report. Individuals wishing to be accreditation surveyors should contact the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC).
